Isotex 15000 refers to Regatta's own waterproof and breathable technology. The '15000' indicates the hydrostatic head rating (15,000mm), meaning it can withstand water pressure up to 15,000mm before leaking, and a breathability rating of 15,000g/m²/24 hours, indicating good vapor transfer.

The jacket provides excellent protection against wind and rain. For extreme cold, it is designed to be layered. Add insulating layers like fleece or down jackets underneath to increase warmth.

It is recommended to wash the jacket separately or with similar technical garments. Use a gentle cycle at 40°C and avoid fabric softeners, bleach, and high heat drying or ironing, as these can damage the waterproof and breathable properties.

The hood typically has drawcords at the front and sometimes a velcro adjuster at the back. Pull the drawcords to tighten the hood around your face for maximum protection against wind and rain.

Articulated sleeves are designed with pre-shaped seams to mimic the natural movement of your arms. This provides a greater range of motion, making it easier to climb, reach, or perform any activity that requires arm flexibility without the jacket pulling or restricting you.

The jacket features zipped pockets which offer a good level of protection against light rain. However, for full waterproofing of sensitive items like electronics, it is advisable to use additional waterproof protection inside the pockets.

The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish may have worn off. Clean the jacket and re-apply a suitable DWR spray or wash-in product according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Ensure no debris is caught in the zipper. Once dry, apply a silicone-based lubricant or wax to the zipper teeth.

Ensure the jacket is properly ventilated. Open zippers and adjust the hood. If the issue persists, the breathability might be compromised by dirt or residue; wash the jacket according to care instructions and avoid fabric softeners.
