Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and any loose material. For wooden surfaces, ensure they are sanded smooth. If applying over existing paint, ensure it is water-based, sound, and dry.
Compatibility: Suitable for most porous and semi-porous surfaces including wood, stone, and wallpaper. It can be applied over all water-based paints. It is not recommended for use on plastics, metals, or highly glossy surfaces without appropriate priming.
Care: Apply using a good quality synthetic brush. Work in even strokes, maintaining a wet edge to avoid lap marks. Apply thin coats rather than one thick coat for best results. Allow adequate drying time between coats, typically 2-4 hours, depending on conditions. The final coat should be left to cure for at least 24 hours before subjecting it to light use, and 7 days for heavy use.
Cleaning: Clean brushes and equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water.
