Product Information

Full details

The Spector Tabletop Water Fountain in Bronze is designed for homeowners and office workers seeking to create a tranquil, meditative environment through ambient sound and light. Its primary benefit is the soothing acoustic experience provided by circulating water combined with an integrated LED light, making it a perfect addition to desks or bedside tables. One caveat for potential users is that the fountain relies on a consistent water level to operate effectively, requiring periodic checks to ensure the pump remains submerged.

FAQs

Can I leave the fountain on all the time?

While the pump is designed for consistent use, it is recommended to turn it off when you are away for extended periods to ensure the water level remains safe.

How often should I change the water?

It is best to top off the water daily and perform a full water change every 1-2 weeks to keep the fountain clean.

Is the pump replaceable?

The pump is a standard component for this model; please consult your manual or support channels if you experience mechanical failure.

Can I use tap water?

Yes, tap water is fine, though using distilled water can help prevent mineral buildup on the fountain surface.

Does the LED light have its own switch?

The LED light is designed to activate automatically when the fountain is powered.

Where should I place the fountain?

Place it on a level, water-resistant surface away from electronics or documents that could be damaged by accidental splashing.

Troubleshooting

Pump is making a loud buzzing or grinding noise.

The water level is likely too low. Ensure the pump is completely submerged in water.

Water is not flowing or flow is very weak.

Check that the hose is properly connected to the pump and verify the pump flow setting is not on the lowest position. Clean any debris from the pump intake.

LED light is not turning on.

Verify the power cable is securely connected and the outlet or USB port is providing power.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Compact footprint ideal for small surfaces
Three adjustable water flow speeds
Ambient LED lighting included

Versatile power options via USB or plug

Cons

Requires regular water level monitoring
Needs an external power source to operate
Cannot be used without water to avoid pump damage

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the fountain is a straightforward process. First, ensure the fountain is placed on a flat, level surface to prevent splashing or uneven flow. Connect the internal hose securely to the pump outlet. Before plugging the unit into a power source, fill the basin with enough water to fully submerge the pump mechanism; operating the fountain while the pump is dry will cause damage. For maintenance, clean the basin regularly with a soft cloth to prevent mineral buildup and ensure the water remains clear. If the water flow seems to diminish, inspect the pump intake for debris or blockage.
