The SLADE trainers are designed with a standard fit. While the suede offers some flexibility, individuals with significantly wide feet may find them more comfortable if tried on first.

It is recommended to apply suede protector spray upon purchase and reapply every few months, or after cleaning, to maintain optimal protection against the elements.

While a suede protector spray offers some water resistance, these trainers are best suited for dry or mildly damp conditions. Prolonged exposure to heavy rain can damage the suede.

For scuff marks, try gently rubbing the affected area with a clean pencil eraser or a specialized suede eraser. Follow up with a suede brush.

The SLADE trainers provide a comfortable, cushioned insole. For specific arch support needs, you may consider using custom or over-the-counter orthotic inserts.

Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally in their original box or a dust bag. Stuff them with plain paper to help maintain their shape and absorb any residual moisture.

Use a suede brush to gently restore the nap. For persistent marks, use a suede cleaner according to product instructions, testing on an inconspicuous area first.

Suede can stretch slightly with wear. Wear them with socks for a short period to help them conform to your foot. If they remain uncomfortably tight, consider if they are the correct size.

Allow the trainers to dry naturally away from heat. Once dry, gently brush the suede to lift the nap. Applying a suede protector can prevent future spotting.

Ensure the soles are clean and free from debris. For increased grip on smooth surfaces, a cobbler can add grip enhancers, or consider wearing them in on rougher terrain initially.
