Ripstop refers to a weaving technique that makes fabric resistant to tearing and ripping. Small reinforcing threads are interwoven at regular intervals.

Gently pull the fabric away from the zipper teeth. Apply a small amount of graphite pencil lead or wax along the zipper teeth to lubricate it. Ensure there are no loose threads caught in the zipper.

Hang the garment to dry or tumble dry on a low setting. If wrinkles persist, iron on a low heat setting, preferably inside out.

Contact Fred Perry customer service for potential repair or replacement options. Avoid forcing the snap.
