Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces adequately to allow your foot to slide comfortably into the boot. The Dynamic Fit collar will provide a snug, sock-like entry.
- Fit Adjustment: Once your foot is in, pull the laces tight evenly from bottom to top, ensuring a secure yet comfortable fit. Double knot for security during play.
- Break-in: As with most high-performance footwear, a short break-in period may be beneficial to fully conform the boots to your foot, especially around the Dynamic Fit collar. Wear them during light training sessions before intense matches.
Compatibility
These boots are MultiGround (FG/MG), meaning they are designed for optimal performance on both:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Artificial Ground (MG): Newer generations of artificial turf pitches (3G/4G).
Ensure the playing surface is appropriate for MultiGround studs to prevent damage to the boots or the pitch.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud by gently tapping the boots together. Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) and lukewarm water to clean the upper and soleplate. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Drying: Stuff the boots with newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources (like radiators), which can damage the synthetic materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them from scratches and keep them clean between uses.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash or tumble dry your football boots, as this can severely damage the materials and construction.
