The Barbour Dena Tall Wellies are designed for women who require dependable, waterproof footwear for countryside walks, gardening, or navigating wet urban environments. These boots provide essential protection from the elements with a full-length silhouette and durable rubber construction, offering a stylish yet functional solution for outdoor enthusiasts; however, potential users should note that as tall rubber boots, they may feel slightly rigid compared to casual walking shoes until fully broken in.

The Dena series features a standard fit. If you have particularly wide calves, you may find them snug, so wearing thin trousers or tights inside is recommended.
Use clean, lukewarm water and a soft cloth or sponge to wipe away dirt. Avoid harsh detergents that could damage the rubber finish.
While durable and waterproof, they are intended for casual walking and countryside activities. They do not provide the specialized arch support found in dedicated hiking boots.
Yes, the Barbour Dena range is available in several UK adult sizes to ensure a comfortable fit.
Keep them upright in a cool area away from sunlight. Do not fold the boots, as this creates creases that eventually lead to cracks in the rubber.
Use a boot jack to provide the necessary leverage to pull the heel out without damaging the rubber.
This is a natural process called blooming. Wipe the boots with a rubber-safe conditioning spray or a damp cloth to restore the shine.
To ensure your boots remain in optimal condition, wipe them down with a damp cloth after every use to remove mud and grit, which can degrade the rubber over time. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources like radiators, as extreme temperature fluctuations can cause the rubber to crack. If the interior becomes damp, stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture naturally rather than using a dryer. Because these are tall boots, consider using a boot jack for easier removal after a long day of use.
