Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Measurement: Accurately measure the length needed for your project.
- Cutting: Use a fine-toothed saw or utility knife to cut the PVC profile to the required length. A mitre box can help ensure accurate angles for corners.
- Preparation: Clean the surfaces where the profile will be applied, ensuring they are free of dust, debris, and moisture.
- Installation: Apply an appropriate adhesive (e.g., construction adhesive or PVC-specific glue) to the back of the profile and press it firmly into place. Alternatively, use screws or nails, but ensure they are flush with the surface.
Compatibility
The B&Q White PVC Angle Profile is compatible with various surfaces, including:
- Tiles
- Wood
- Plasterboard
- Painted walls
Ensure the adhesive or fasteners used are compatible with the specific surface.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the profile with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove dirt or marks.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes, as they can scratch the surface.
- Avoid Solvents: Avoid using harsh solvents or chemicals, as they may damage the PVC.
