Yes, the Springfield coat is constructed from lightweight fine-twill and incorporates Cool Vent side panels specifically designed to manage heat and moisture.
The jacket follows a 'Tailored Fit,' which is slimmer through the chest and body than standard chef coats. If you prefer a loose fit, consider sizing up.
The jacket features a dedicated thermometer pocket on the left sleeve and an additional utility pocket on the right sleeve.
Wash in cold or warm water with like colors. Avoid heavy bleaching agents to protect the integrity of the moisture-wicking panels.
This specific model is designed for men, featuring a cut that conforms to standard male sizing and torso dimensions.
The coat features a slim, tailored cut; ensure you have selected the appropriate size for your build, as the jacket is designed to be form-fitting rather than loose.
The Cool Vent technology is focused on the side panels. Ensure your undershirt is made of moisture-wicking synthetic fabric to complement the coat's venting system.
To ensure the longevity of your chef coat, it is recommended to follow standard commercial laundry practices. Because the fabric is a lightweight fine-twill, avoid using harsh industrial bleaches that may weaken the fibers. For best results, wash with like colors in cold or warm water and hang to dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Given the tailored fit, ensure you consult a sizing chart carefully before ordering, as the cut is intentionally slim compared to traditional boxy chef coats. Inspect the reinforced stress points periodically to ensure threads remain secure after heavy commercial use.
