The Melrose County Flatweave Rug is an ideal solution for homeowners seeking a balance of durability and style in high-traffic areas of the home. This 60x110cm rug features a hard-wearing flatweave pile and a practical anti-slip gel backing, making it perfect for busy hallways or kitchens; however, its low-profile flatweave construction may not offer the same plush, cushioned underfoot feel as thick-pile shag alternatives.

The gel backing is designed primarily for hard floor surfaces like wood, tile, or laminate; it may not be effective on carpet.
Blot the area gently with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Never soak the rug or use harsh bleach.
No, the anti-slip gel backing can be damaged by the agitation and water temperature in a washing machine.
This rug measures 60cm in width and 110cm in height.
No, the built-in anti-slip gel backing eliminates the need for an additional rug pad.
Reverse-roll the rug in the opposite direction and leave it for a few hours to relax the fibers.
Clean the floor surface underneath thoroughly to allow the anti-slip gel backing to re-establish a firm grip.
To set up your rug, simply unroll it in the desired location. The gel backing will grip most smooth, clean floor surfaces immediately. If the rug has slight curling from shipping, reverse-roll it for a few hours to flatten the fibers. For care, vacuum regularly to remove loose dust and debris. If a spill occurs, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth—avoid scrubbing, which can damage the flatweave fibers. Because of the gel backing, this rug is not suitable for machine washing.
