Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure your case is compatible with a 360mm radiator. Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, thermal paste (if not pre-applied), and the cooler components.
- Mounting the Radiator: Install the radiator at the top or front of your case, securing it with screws.
- Installing the CPU Block: Mount the CPU block onto the CPU, following the correct bracket for your socket type (LGA 1700, Socket AM4, Socket AM5).
- Connecting the Fans: Connect the fans to the radiator and daisy-chain them. Connect the fan cable to a 4-pin PWM header on your motherboard.
- Connecting the Pump: Connect the pump cable to the CPU fan header on your motherboard.
Compatibility
The Corsair Nautilus 360 RS is compatible with a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets, including:
- Intel: LGA 1700, LGA 1200, LGA 115x
- AMD: Socket AM5, AM4
Always verify compatibility with your specific CPU and motherboard before installation.
Care
- Dusting: Regularly clean the radiator fans and radiator fins to prevent dust buildup, which can reduce cooling efficiency. Use compressed air for this purpose.
- Liquid Check: Monitor for any leaks or unusual noises, which may indicate a problem with the pump or coolant.
- Coolant: The cooler is a sealed unit and does not require coolant maintenance. Do not attempt to refill or open the unit.
