FAQs
Does the net come with installation hardware?
No, the net requires compatible hooks for installation which are not included in the package.
Can I cut the privacy net myself?
Yes, the unique fabric structure is designed to be easily cut to your desired size with standard tools.
Is the material waterproof?
The net is water permeable, meaning it allows water to pass through rather than pooling on the surface.
How do I clean the net?
The net is easily cleaned by spraying it down with a garden hose.
Is it effective against strong sunlight?
Yes, it is UV-proof, which provides excellent protection from direct sun exposure while remaining breathable.
Troubleshooting
Net flapping too much in high winds
Ensure the net is pulled taut during installation and use additional fastening points along the edges.
Edges fraying after cutting
Use a sharp pair of industrial scissors and consider heat-sealing the cut edge with a light touch from a flame or lighter to melt the synthetic fibers together.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Resistant to UV rays and mould
- Highly breathable for comfort in hot weather
- Easy to trim and customize for specific areas
- Simple, sleek black aesthetic
- Permeable material prevents wind damage
Cons
- Installation hooks must be bought separately
- Requires careful measurement to ensure coverage
- Limited to black colorway
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install the privacy net, ensure you have measured your installation area, accounting for the length of the external hooks you intend to use. Since the net is cut-to-size, it is recommended to measure twice before making your first cut. For routine care, the high-density polyethylene is low maintenance; simply spray the net with a garden hose to remove dust or debris. During severe winter weather, taking the net down can help extend its lifespan, though the UV-proof material is built for year-round outdoor exposure.
