Setup, Compatibility & Care
Transitioning to the Lone Peak 9+ should be done gradually. If you are moving from a standard shoe with an elevated heel, start by wearing these for short walks or light jogs to allow your calves and Achilles tendons to adjust to the increased loading. To maintain the life of your trainers, avoid machine washing or aggressive drying. Instead, rinse off mud after trail use with clean water and a soft-bristled brush. Remove the insoles and allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or direct sunlight, which can compromise the structural integrity of the specialized adhesives and foam materials.
