Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Ensure the iron is unplugged before filling the water tank.
- Open the water tank cap.
- Fill the transparent water tank with clean tap water up to the maximum level indicated.
- Close the water tank cap securely.
- Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet.
- Select the appropriate temperature setting for your fabric. The iron will heat up quickly.
Compatibility:
This iron is designed for use with standard household electrical outlets. It is suitable for ironing most common fabric types, including cotton, linen, synthetics, and blends. Always check the garment's care label for specific ironing instructions.
Care:
- Emptying After Use: Always unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely before emptying any remaining water from the tank.
- Cleaning the Soleplate: Once cool, wipe the ceramic soleplate with a slightly damp cloth. For stubborn residues, use a non-abrasive cleaner designed for iron soleplates. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the surface.
- Anti-Calc System (if applicable): Refer to the specific instructions for any built-in anti-calc features to maintain optimal performance.
- Storage: Store the iron upright in a cool, dry place. Ensure the cord is wrapped neatly and not tightly bent.
