This kit is designed for the FloPlast XtraFlo 170mm system and is not guaranteed to be compatible with other manufacturer's guttering.

Do I need glue for the joints?

No. The system uses push-fit ring seals. Do not use solvent weld glue, as this will prevent the pipe from expanding and contracting with temperature changes.

How often should I clean the hopper head?

It is recommended to clear the hopper at least twice a year, or after heavy autumn leaf fall, to ensure high-capacity flow is maintained.

Is the material paintable?

FloPlast products are designed with a smooth finish. While it is possible to paint, we recommend using a specialist plastic primer, though the black finish is UV-resistant and generally does not require painting.

Can the 110mm pipe be cut to length?
