Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your ALEYA shoes remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Leather shoes often require a short break-in period to mold to the unique shape of your feet; wear them for short durations initially.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove surface dust. For deeper cleaning, apply a leather-specific cleaner following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Conditioning: Apply a high-quality leather conditioner every few months to keep the material supple and prevent cracking.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading and leather dehydration. Use shoe trees to help maintain the shoe's structural shape when not in use.
- Protection: Consider using a water-repellent spray designed for leather to protect against accidental spills or light rain.
