The Caecus Blackout Roller Blind in Blue is an ideal solution for homeowners and renters seeking complete light control, enhanced privacy, and thermal regulation in their living spaces. Designed for ease of use, these stylish polyester blinds feature a 3-pass blackout lining that effectively blocks sunlight, making them perfect for bedrooms, nurseries, or media rooms. While the blinds offer excellent functional benefits, users should note that the fabric width is approximately 4cm narrower than the total specified product width to accommodate the mounting hardware.

Yes, the stated width is the total width including the fitting hardware. The fabric itself will be approximately 4cm narrower.
We recommend choosing the correct size from the 14 available options to ensure the blackout and thermal properties remain intact.
Yes, the kit includes a child-safe chain connector and a safety clip that must be installed to keep the chain taut.
Simply wipe the fabric gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or heavy scrubbing.
The fabric is durable, but because it is a polycotton blend, we recommend ensuring adequate ventilation to avoid moisture buildup.
The brackets are designed for inside recess, outside recess, window face, side fixing, and top fixing.
Check that the mounting brackets are level and not overtightened, which can cause tension on the roller mechanism.
Ensure the blind was installed using the inside recess method for the tightest fit, or consider switching to an outside recess mount to provide better overlap.
Ensure the child safety clip is installed correctly, as a loose chain is more likely to tangle or bunch up during operation.
Installation
Before purchasing, measure your window width and length carefully. Remember that the fabric width is roughly 4cm less than the total blind width, which includes the mounting brackets. The included kit supports top, side, and face fixing. Follow the provided instruction leaflet to mount the brackets, then click the roller mechanism into place.
Maintenance
To keep the blinds in top condition, simply wipe them down with a clean, damp cloth as needed. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the fabric in water, as this may damage the blackout lining. Always ensure the child-safety clip is securely mounted to the wall to keep the chain taut and out of reach of children.
