It is strongly recommended to hand wash the turban in cold water with a mild detergent to preserve the silk quality and shape. Machine washing may damage the delicate fabric and elastic.

While it helps reduce friction that can contribute to breakage, it is not a medical treatment for hair loss. Its primary benefit is protecting existing hair health.

The turban was developed for curly and/or thick hair and may be a loose fit on short and/or fine hair. It can still offer some protection, but the fit may not be as secure.
