The CAT Axiom uses genuine leather, which offers natural water resistance, but they are not classified as fully waterproof boots. Avoid submersion in deep water.

While the rubber outsole provides good traction, these are designed for urban environments. They are not recommended for technical hiking or rough mountain trails.

Spot clean the interior lining with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap. Allow them to air dry fully in a ventilated area before wearing them again.

CAT Footwear generally follows standard sizing. It is recommended to select your standard size, though if you plan to wear thick socks, you may consider a half-size increase.

Use a black cream polish or wax to cover scuffs and restore the shine. Buff with a clean, soft cloth after applying the polish.

Apply a high-quality leather conditioner to restore suppleness and allow the shoe to sit for 24 hours before wearing.

Use a stiff brush or a damp cloth to remove compacted dirt, grit, or pebbles from the tread patterns on the bottom of the sole.

Consider replacing the inner footbed with a compatible aftermarket insert if you require additional arch support or if the original foam has reached the end of its life cycle.
