Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These shoes are designed for immediate use. Ensure spikes are securely in place if they are separate components. Always check local competition rules regarding spike length and type.
Compatibility: Primarily designed for use on standard athletic tracks (synthetic or cinder). Not recommended for road running, trail running, or general gym training due to the specialized spike plate.
Care:
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove dirt and debris from the outsole and upper. For tougher stains, use a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid soaking the shoes.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes completely at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Spikes: Remove spikes after each use and store them separately to prevent rust and maintain their sharpness. Clean any debris from the spike receptacles.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in their original box or a shoe bag to protect them from dust and damage.
