The Manhattan Divan Bed is for individuals seeking a stylish, handcrafted bed with integrated storage. Its key benefit is the combination of plush velvet upholstery, a sophisticated design, and two convenient storage compartments, offering both comfort and practicality. A minor caveat is that self-assembly is required. This bed features high-quality plush velvet fabric, a 54-inch floorstanding headboard, and includes the luxurious Chelsea mattress, all expertly handcrafted in the UK.

The exact dimensions of the storage compartments can vary slightly depending on the bed size. Please refer to the specific product measurements or contact customer support for detailed dimensions for your chosen size.
The height of the divan base itself is typically around 14 inches (35-36 cm), excluding the mattress. This can vary slightly by size.
Gently vacuum the upholstery regularly with a soft brush attachment. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild upholstery cleaner specifically designed for velvet, testing in an inconspicuous area first.
While the bed comes with the Chelsea mattress, it is designed to fit standard UK mattress sizes. You can use your own mattress, provided it matches the dimensions of the divan base.
Information regarding the warranty period should be checked with the retailer or manufacturer. Typically, handcrafted furniture like this comes with a warranty covering manufacturing defects.
The 54-inch headboard is floorstanding and designed to be securely attached to the divan base. While it can be detached for moving, it is not intended for regular removal.
The Manhattan Divan Bed is available in black, silver, cream, mink, green, pink, and mustard plush velvet.
Ensure all screws and fittings are tightened securely. Check that the bed is on a level surface and that all legs (if applicable) are evenly positioned.
Check for any obstructions within the compartments or around the runners. Ensure the base is correctly assembled and level.
Allow the Chelsea mattress a few days to acclimatize after unpacking. Ensure the bed base is firm and supportive. If discomfort persists, consider if a different mattress firmness is needed.
Verify that the headboard is securely attached to the divan base according to the assembly instructions. Ensure all bolts and brackets are tightened.
Setup: The Manhattan Divan Bed requires self-assembly. Instructions will be provided with the delivery. It is recommended to have two people for assembly due to the size and weight of the components. Ensure you have adequate space before starting assembly.
Compatibility: The bed is designed to accommodate standard UK mattress sizes corresponding to the divan base size. The Chelsea mattress is specifically matched for optimal comfort and fit. The bed is designed for use on a level floor.
Care: The plush velvet upholstery should be cleaned with a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Regular vacuuming with an upholstery attachment can help maintain the fabric's texture. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
