Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Puma Cell Vive Trainers is straightforward:
- Lacing: Ensure laces are threaded through all eyelets. For a secure fit, pull the laces firmly but not too tightly, then tie them in a double knot to prevent them from coming undone during activity.
- Fit Check: Have your child try them on with their typical socks. There should be about a thumb's width space between their longest toe and the end of the shoe. The sides of the foot should feel snug but not pinched.
Compatibility
- Age Group: Designed for kids.
- Gender: Specifically for boys.
- Size: UK Children's size 2.
- Use: Ideal for general active wear, running, playing, and daily casual use. While suitable for many activities, they are not specialized sports-specific footwear.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of the trainers:
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap (e.g., dish soap diluted with water). Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Always allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them in direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or tumble dryers), as this can damage materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with paper can help maintain their shape.
- Odour Control: If odours develop, remove insoles (if removable) and air them out. Baking soda can be sprinkled inside the shoes overnight to absorb odours.
