Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your HOKA Skyflow trainers, keep the following care practices in mind:
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, give the foam a few short runs to adapt to your foot strike.
- Cleaning: Remove excess dirt or mud with a soft brush after use. If necessary, clean the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid fully submerging in water.
- Drying: Air dry only in a cool, shaded area. Direct heat, such as radiators or direct sunlight, can warp the foam and degrade the adhesive components.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent the breakdown of the midsole materials over time.
- Rotation: If you run daily, rotate your shoes with another pair to allow the cushioning foam to fully rebound and moisture to evaporate between sessions.
