The DS Living Eclipse Ottoman Divan Bed is designed for homeowners seeking to maximize bedroom utility without compromising on high-end aesthetic appeal. Featuring a sophisticated, tall geometric diamond-tufted headboard and an integrated gas-lift storage system, this bed provides a practical solution for decluttering seasonal items and bedding. While its luxurious velvet-like finish creates an opulent atmosphere, potential buyers should note that the bed arrives as a self-assembly project and does not include a mattress.

No, the mattress is sold separately.
The base is built for stability and can support standard mattress weights plus common stored items, but please avoid placing excessively heavy point-loads inside the storage area.
While possible, we strongly recommend two people for assembly due to the weight of the components and the complexity of the lifting mechanism.
Use a vacuum with an upholstery attachment for dust, and blot spills gently with a damp, lint-free cloth.
No, DS Living pillows and blankets are for photography purposes only and are not included with the bed.
Check that a mattress is placed on the base. The gas-lift struts are designed to be weighted; they will not operate correctly without the pressure of a mattress.
Double-check that all bolts and fixings are tightened securely. Ensure the frame is on a level surface.
Use a soft garment steamer or a clean, soft-bristled brush to gently lift the fibers of the velvet-like fabric.
Assembly requires a clear floor space and basic tools. Because the bed utilizes a heavy-duty gas-lift system, it is recommended that two people perform the assembly to ensure the frame is aligned correctly before attaching the lifting mechanism. The bed is compatible with all standard UK-sized mattresses. To maintain the plush fabric, vacuum the headboard and base weekly using an upholstery attachment to remove dust. If a spill occurs, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth; avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes which could damage the velvety finish.
