Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install this cable, first disconnect the vehicle battery to prevent short circuits. Measure the required length from the source to your component, adding an extra 10cm to account for routing and terminal connection. Strip approximately 5-8mm of insulation from the ends to reveal the copper conductor, then crimp or solder your connectors firmly.
Compatibility: This cable is compatible with standard automotive electrical systems.
Care Instructions: Avoid routing the cable near extreme heat sources, such as exhaust manifolds or radiator hoses, as the insulation can soften. Use plastic zip ties or adhesive wire clips to secure the cable periodically along its run to minimize movement caused by vehicle vibrations. If the cable is exposed to the elements, consider wrapping it in electrical tape or protective conduit to maintain its longevity.
