Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
These frames are designed to be fitted with prescription lenses by an optician. The process involves:
- Take the frames to a qualified optician.
- Have your child's eyes measured for accurate lens prescription and pupillary distance.
- The optician will cut and insert the lenses into the frames.
- The optician will adjust the nose pads and temple arms for a perfect fit.
Compatibility:
- These frames are compatible with most standard prescription lens types, including single vision and potentially progressives, depending on frame size and optical center.
- Consult with your optician regarding lens material and coatings (e.g., anti-reflective, scratch-resistant) suitable for children.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently clean lenses with a soft microfiber cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for eyewear. Avoid using household cleaners or paper towels, which can scratch lenses.
- Storage: Store the frames in a protective case when not in use to prevent scratches and damage.
- Handling: Always handle the frames by holding both temples. Avoid placing them lens-down on surfaces.
