Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Remove the old toilet seat and any remaining fittings.
- Place the new toilet seat in position.
- Insert the adjustable metal screw bolts through the mounting holes of the toilet seat.
- Align the bolts with the holes on the toilet bowl.
- Insert the expanding rubber sleeves into the toilet bowl holes.
- Screw the bolts into the rubber sleeves, tightening them evenly on both sides until the seat is secure and does not move.
- Ensure the quick-release mechanism on the seat engages correctly.
Compatibility: These fittings are designed for universal use with most standard toilet bowls and seats featuring quick-release functionality. Compatibility is generally high, but it's always advisable to check the dimensions of your existing fittings and toilet bowl against the product specifications if possible.
Care: To maintain the sleek chrome finish, clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface. For tougher marks, use a mild soap and water solution, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
