Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Before first use, sterilize the Lily Cup B by boiling it in water for 5-7 minutes. Ensure you have clean hands.
- Folding: Flatten the opening with the tall rim facing away from you. Then simply roll your cup upwards.
- Insertion: As you would with a tampon, angle your period cup towards your tailbone and insert it upwards until the removal stem is inside. The tall rim of the period cup should be situated towards your back.
- Placement: Run your finger around the cup to make sure it’s entirely open. If it is, it’s placed correctly.
- Removal: Gently push the cup down and grip the stem to slowly pull downwards. Once you can feel the base of the cup squeeze it to release the seal.
- Cleaning: After removal, wash the cup with mild, unscented soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Storage: Store the cup in the provided pouch. Avoid storing in airtight containers when not completely dry.
Compatibility: The Lily Cup B is compatible with most individuals, but is specifically recommended for those who have given birth or have a weaker pelvic floor. Always consult a healthcare professional if you have any concerns.
Care: Regularly inspect the cup for any signs of damage or wear. Replace the cup if you notice any changes in the material. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
