It is made of high-quality vinyl which is durable and moisture-resistant, but it is not intended for use in showers or areas with direct water contact.
While the surface is vinyl, it is designed for its specific texture and color; painting over it is not recommended as it may lose its silky finish.
A standard, high-quality 'paste-the-wall' wallpaper adhesive is required for this product.
Measure the total width and height of your walls, calculate the surface area, and remember to account for a 5-10% waste factor for trimming.
Yes, high-quality vinyl wallcoverings are typically strippable, meaning they can often be pulled off the wall in large sheets when it is time to redecorate.
Ensure the adhesive is applied evenly to the edges and gently butt the seams together without overlapping; use a seam roller if necessary.
Use a smooth plastic smoothing tool to gently push air pockets toward the nearest edge while the adhesive is still wet.
Apply a small amount of wallpaper seam adhesive under the loose edge and press firmly with a clean roller.
For optimal results, ensure your walls are smooth, dry, and clean before beginning. Since this is a paste-the-wall product, you should apply high-quality wallpaper adhesive directly to the wall surface rather than the paper. Use a plumb line to ensure your first strip is perfectly vertical, as the linear texture will make any tilt immediately visible. For maintenance, the vinyl surface can be gently wiped with a damp cloth if dust or light marks accumulate. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes that could damage the delicate texture and reflective surface.
