Keenkee Magnetic Door Catch and Latch - Black

The magnetic catch is made of a black tone gun metal finish, providing a metallic feel.

The pack includes 4 magnetic catches, 4 iron spur plates, and 5 hardened wood screws (1 spare) for the base of the magnetic catch. Screws for the spur plate are provided as hardened wood screws.

These magnetic catches are primarily designed for indoor furniture. Use on exterior doors is not recommended due to potential exposure to weather elements.

It is suggested to drill a pilot hole of Ф3mm diameter and 5mm deep for the spur nail.

The base of the magnetic catch features an oblong hole, allowing you to adjust its position back and forth for precise alignment before fully tightening the screw.

While the magnets provide a strong hold, they are best suited for standard-weight cabinet doors and drawers. For heavier applications, additional hardware may be needed.

This specific product is in black tone. A silver color variant is also available (MPN: B08X3G7DWH).

Ensure the magnetic catch and spur plate are perfectly aligned. Adjust the position of the magnetic catch using its oblong mounting hole. Check that the magnet is strong enough for the weight of the door/drawer.

Ensure the pilot hole is correctly sized for the wood screw. The ribbed base is designed to prevent swiveling; double-check that the screw is fully tightened into a solid part of the furniture.

Drill a pilot hole of the recommended diameter (Ф3mm) and depth (5mm) before inserting the spur nail. Gently tap the nail into the wood. If the material is very hard, consider a slightly larger pilot hole.

Avoid using abrasive cleaning materials. If minor scratches occur, a soft cloth may help buff them. For significant damage, replacement of the unit may be necessary.
