Setup
- Installation: Use a 9/16" pedal wrench to install the pedals onto your bike's crank arms. Ensure they are tightened securely to prevent loosening during rides. The right pedal threads onto the right crank arm clockwise, and the left pedal threads onto the left crank arm counter-clockwise.
- Pin Configuration: Experiment with the pin configuration to find the ideal grip for your riding style. Use the provided tool to adjust or replace pins. Consider using thread locker on the pins to prevent them from loosening.
Compatibility
The DMR V12 Mg pedals are compatible with most mountain bikes and downhill bikes that use a standard 9/16" pedal thread. Check the specifications of your bike to ensure compatibility.
Care
- Cleaning: After each ride, remove dirt and debris from the pedals. Use a brush or cloth to clean the platform and pins.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the condition of the pins and replace any that are damaged or worn. If the pedals feel stiff, consider servicing the bearings. Clean and re-grease the bearings as needed.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the pedals for any signs of damage or wear. Pay close attention to the pins and the pedal body.
