Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40 trainers, keep the following care instructions in mind:
- Initial Break-in: Because of the leather upper, wear the shoes for shorter walks or light jogs during the first week to allow the material to mold to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud or debris from the outsole. Wipe the leather upper with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid fully submerging the shoes in water.
- Drying: Air dry the trainers in a cool, ventilated space. Never place them in a clothes dryer or near a direct heat source, as excessive heat can damage the cushioning technology and leather.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight to prevent the leather from cracking or stiffening over time.
