No, the boots are made of suede and are not waterproof. We recommend applying a water-repellent spray specifically designed for suede.
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust. For marks, use a suede-specific cleaning block.
The elastic detailing allows for some flexibility in fit, but they are designed to standard sizing conventions.
Yes, they are designed for prolonged wear, though they are intended as fashion boots rather than technical walking footwear.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, preferably with a shoe tree inserted to maintain the silhouette.
Use a suede brush in a consistent direction to lift the nap and restore the texture.
Allow the boot to dry completely, then gently use a suede eraser to buff out the affected area.
Getting the most out of your Gabor Samtch/Elastic boots involves proper maintenance, especially given the suede exterior. To ensure longevity, always use a dedicated suede protector spray before wearing them for the first time to guard against moisture and dirt. If the boots become dusty, use a specialized suede brush to restore the texture of the material. Avoid direct heat sources when drying them if they become damp. Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally using shoe trees to help them retain their original shape.
