GRP Roofing Raised Edge Trim - 114mm x 127mm

You must use a compatible PU trim adhesive, specifically designed for bonding GRP to timber or battens.

While the trim has a durable finish, if you choose to paint it, ensure you use a UV-stable exterior-grade paint system compatible with GRP.

It is best cut using a fine-toothed handsaw or an electric angle grinder with a suitable cutting disc for composite materials.

This product is specifically engineered for GRP (fibreglass) roofing systems.

Apply the PU adhesive in 30mm beads at 300mm centres along the battens.

While adhesive is the primary bond, you may use corrosion-resistant nails or screws through the vertical flange if needed, ensuring they are sealed over with resin.

Ensure the surface is free of dust or moisture and verify the adhesive is fresh. Increase pressure during initial application to ensure a full bond.

Use a fine-toothed saw to ensure clean cuts. Use GRP resin and glass matting to bridge and reinforce the corner joint, ensuring a watertight seal.

Check the roof fall/slope. The edge trim is designed to direct flow, but the deck must have a sufficient gradient to facilitate water movement.
