It is not recommended. Humidity can warp the European Pine wood bars and potentially damage the archival quality of the canvas over time.
The print arrives ready to hang, though the specific wall hook or nail required will depend on your individual wall surface type, which is typically provided by the homeowner.
Yes, Panther Print utilizes high-quality archival HP VIVERA inks which are standard for fine art reproduction and suitable for living areas.
No, it is advised to use only a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust. Moisture may affect the ink or the underlying wood frame.
This canvas print is hand-crafted in the UK.
The canvas is wrapped around the pine wood bars, meaning the frame is largely hidden from the front view, offering a clean, 'gallery-wrapped' aesthetic.
Temperature changes can cause wood to expand. If the canvas feels loose, check if the room environment is too humid. Placing the print in a stable, climate-controlled room usually allows the canvas to tighten back up naturally.
Do not use water to shrink the canvas. Sometimes, applying light heat from a hair dryer on the lowest setting from the back of the canvas can help the fibers tighten; however, move with extreme caution to avoid damaging the ink.
Setup is straightforward as the canvas comes pre-stretched and ready to hang. Ensure you use appropriate wall anchors or hooks based on your wall type (drywall, masonry, or wood). To maintain the print, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently dust the surface. Avoid using liquid cleaners, chemicals, or abrasive scrubbing, as these can damage the archival ink layer and the canvas texture. Periodically check that the frame remains flush against the wall to ensure it does not tilt over time due to temperature-induced wood expansion or contraction.
