Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Sizing: Ensure you have selected the correct UK size 3 for a snug yet comfortable fit. Try on the boots with your usual football socks to assess the fit.
- Lacing: Lace your boots securely but not overly tight, ensuring your foot is locked in place without restricting blood flow.
- Break-in: New boots may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or walks before competitive play to allow them to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches, which are natural grass surfaces that are relatively dry and solid. They are not recommended for use on Artificial Grass (AG), Soft Ground (SG), or Indoor (IC) surfaces, as this can damage the studs, reduce performance, and void potential warranties.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Air dry your boots naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), as this can cause materials to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Inspection: Regularly check studs and stitching for wear and tear to ensure continued optimal performance and safety.
