Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Charge: Place the WandVac 2.0 onto its charging dock. Ensure the charging dock is plugged into a functional wall outlet. The indicator light will confirm charging status. Charge fully before first use.
- Attach Accessories (if applicable): If your model includes attachments like a crevice tool or pet tool, simply push them firmly onto the nozzle until they click into place.
Compatibility
The Shark WandVac 2.0 is designed for dry debris pick-up only. It is compatible with a wide range of surfaces for spot cleaning, including:
- Hard floors and countertops
- Upholstery and fabrics
- Car interiors
- Keyboards and small electronics (with appropriate caution)
Do not use to pick up liquids.
Care and Maintenance
1. Emptying the Dust Cup:
- Locate the dust cup release button (Info needed: [Specific location of release button]).
- Hold the WandVac 2.0 over a trash bin.
- Press the release button to open the dust cup and empty its contents.
- Close the dust cup firmly until it clicks.
2. Cleaning the Filter:
- Remove the dust cup from the main unit.
- Carefully pull out the filter assembly.
- Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove loose dust.
- For a deeper clean, rinse the filter under cold water only.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use a hairdryer or artificial heat.
- Ensure the filter is completely dry to prevent damage and maintain suction.
3. Battery Care:
- Always store the vacuum on its charging dock when not in use to ensure it's ready for the next clean.
- Avoid completely draining the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
- Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures.
4. Exterior Cleaning:
- Wipe the exterior of the vacuum with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not submerge the vacuum in water or use harsh cleaning agents.
