Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This 288-pin DIMM module is designed for installation in compatible desktop computers. Ensure your system is powered off and unplugged before proceeding. Open your computer case, locate an available DDR4 RAM slot on the motherboard, and carefully insert the module, aligning the notch on the module with the key in the slot. Apply gentle, even pressure until the clips on either side snap into place. Refer to your motherboard's manual for specific slot recommendations, especially if installing multiple RAM modules.
Compatibility:
The Team Group Elite RAM is designed for DDR4 compatible motherboards. Its QVL (Qualified Vendor List) approval signifies it has undergone compatibility testing with numerous mainstream motherboards, increasing the likelihood of a smooth integration. Always verify your motherboard's specifications for supported memory types (DDR4), speeds (3200MHz), and maximum capacity per slot.
Care:
Handle the RAM module by its edges to avoid touching the gold contacts, which can be sensitive to oils and debris. Store the module in an anti-static bag when not installed. To clean, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using liquids or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the system has adequate airflow to help manage heat, though the 1.2V operation inherently reduces thermal output.
