Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Upon unboxing, your iPhone SE comes with a USB Type-C to Lightning cable. Connect this to a compatible power adapter (sold separately) or a computer to begin the setup process. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and connect to a Wi-Fi network. You will be guided through signing in with your Apple ID, setting up Touch ID, and transferring data from a previous device if desired.
Compatibility:
- Operating Systems: iPhone SE runs on iOS 15 and is compatible with a wide range of Mac OS X and Windows operating systems for data syncing and management. This includes recent versions like macOS Big Sur and Windows 11.
- SIM Card: The device supports Dual SIM functionality, allowing you to use a Nano-SIM and an eSIM simultaneously. Ensure your carrier supports eSIM if you plan to use this feature.
- Charging: It supports both wired fast charging (with a 20W or higher adapter) and Qi-certified wireless charging.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: To clean your iPhone SE, use a soft, lint-free cloth. You can slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using abrasive materials, solvents, or aerosol sprays. Do not immerse the device in water.
- Water & Dust Resistance: While the iPhone SE has an IP67 rating, meaning it's protected against dust and can withstand submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, this resistance may decrease over time with normal wear. Avoid deliberately exposing it to water pressure or high-velocity liquids.
- Temperature: Operate the device within the recommended temperature range of 0° to 35° C (32° to 95° F). Avoid extreme temperatures, as they can affect battery performance and longevity.
