MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is a safety feature designed to reduce rotational forces on the brain during angled impacts. It works by allowing a low-friction layer between the helmet shell and the wearer's head to slide, redirecting rotational energy.

Measure the circumference of your head about one inch above your eyebrows. Refer to the size guide provided by POC, which typically lists ranges like S (51-54 cm), M (54-60 cm), or L (58-62 cm) to find the best fit.

While designed primarily for road cycling, its safety features and ventilation make it suitable for general cycling activities, including urban commuting. However, it is not certified for activities like mountain biking or skiing, which require different helmet specifications.

Use a soft cloth with mild soap and cool water. Wipe down the shell and straps. For the interior pads, remove them if possible and hand wash gently with mild soap and water. Allow the helmet to air dry completely.

Adjust the circumferential dial to loosen the fit. Ensure the helmet is positioned correctly on your head, not too high or too low. If pressure persists, the helmet may not be the ideal shape for your head; consider trying on different sizes or models.

Adjust the strap dividers so they sit just below your earlobes. Ensure the chin strap is snug but not overly tight. The molded straps are designed for durability; if irritation persists, ensure the helmet is not overtightened.

While designed for optimal airflow, extreme heat can still be challenging. Ensure there are no obstructions in the vents. Consider wearing a thin, moisture-wicking cycling cap underneath to help manage sweat.

Ensure the dial is clean and free of debris. If it feels stiff, try gently wiggling it while turning. If it remains difficult to operate, contact customer support.
