Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting the most from your Barry M Lip Liner is simple with proper setup, understanding its compatibility, and routine care.
Setup & First Use
- Prepare Your Lips: Ensure your lips are clean, dry, and moisturized. Gently exfoliate if necessary for the smoothest surface.
- Outline: Starting from the Cupid's bow, gently trace the natural outline of your upper lip using short, light strokes. Repeat for the lower lip, starting from the center.
- Fill (Optional): For extended wear or a more intense color base, lightly fill in your entire lip with the liner.
- Apply Lip Product: Follow with your chosen Barry M Velvet or Satin Lip Paint, or a Thats Swell! Lip Plumper.
Compatibility
- Lipsticks: Designed to be highly compatible with a wide range of lipsticks, especially Barry M's own Velvet and Satin Lip Paints.
- Lip Glosses: Works exceptionally well underneath Thats Swell! Lip Plumpers or any lip gloss to prevent feathering and provide definition.
- Skin Tones: The 'Chocolate' shade is a versatile brown that complements many skin tones and lip colors.
Care & Maintenance
- Sharpening: Info needed: [If this is a pencil, regularly sharpen it to maintain a fine point for precise application. Use a cosmetic sharpener suitable for lip pencils].
- Storage: Store the lip liner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the formula from drying out or melting.
- Hygiene: Avoid sharing your lip liner to maintain hygiene. If using professionally, ensure proper sanitization between clients.
