Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Bearpaw Tabitha slippers remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Initial Break-in: The slippers may feel snug at first due to the wool lining; wear them around the house for short periods to allow the material to conform to your foot.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried dirt or dust from the suede. For tougher stains, use a suede cleaner specifically formulated for treated leathers.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can cause the suede to become brittle.
- Maintenance: While the slippers come with BearCoat, you may reapply a reputable suede-safe water repellent spray every six months to maintain peak performance.
