Ensure all parts are securely fitted. Check the wood-to-metal connections and confirm the stool is on a level surface. Minor adjustments may be possible depending on the specific joinery.

Clean the wood with a recommended wood cleaner and polish. For minor scratches, a wood repair crayon or marker of a matching color might be effective. Avoid harsh chemicals.

The HAY Rey Bar Stool arrives largely assembled, with its primary structure intact thanks to Dietiker’s innovative screwless connection. Minimal setup may be required, typically involving attaching any separate components if applicable.
Compatibility: This bar stool is designed to complement standard bar heights (75cm) and breakfast bar heights (65cm). It's important to measure your specific counter or bar height to ensure a comfortable fit.
Care Instructions:
- Wood: Clean the wooden parts with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this can damage the wood finish. For deeper cleaning, use a mild wood cleaner.
- Metal Frame/Footrest: Wipe the metal components with a dry or slightly damp cloth. For chrome, a chrome polish can be used periodically to maintain shine and prevent tarnishing.
- Upholstered Seats: If your stool has an upholstered seat, follow the specific care instructions for the fabric type. Generally, spot cleaning with a mild detergent and water is recommended, followed by air drying.
