In-Mold Construction is a process where the helmet's outer shell is fused directly with the impact-absorbing foam liner during the manufacturing process. This creates a stronger, lighter helmet with better ventilation compared to traditional helmet construction.
The Roc Loc® Sport system is a dial-based adjustment mechanism that allows for easy, one-handed tightening and loosening of the helmet's fit. It offers a significant adjustment range (7cm) for a secure and personalized fit.
The Giro Fixture II is designed for general cycling, including off-road adventures and casual rides. While it offers good protection, it may not be specialized for extreme disciplines that require enhanced features or certifications.
You can clean the helmet with mild soap and water using a soft cloth. The internal padding can be removed and washed separately with mild soap and water, then air-dried completely.
Universal Fit (UF) sizing means the helmet is designed based on proprietary shell sizes developed for specific customer groups, aiming to provide a great fit for most riders right out of the box without needing to try multiple sizes.
The reflective rear decals are designed to enhance visibility when illuminated by a light source, such as headlights. They significantly increase your visibility in low-light or nighttime conditions but do not make you visible in complete darkness without an external light source.
Ensure the Roc Loc® Sport dial is fully tightened and check that the webbing straps are properly adjusted around the ears and chin.
Loosen the Roc Loc® Sport dial slightly and reposition the helmet on your head. Ensure the straps are not twisted and form a smooth 'V' shape.
Remove the padding and wash with mild soap and water, allowing it to air dry completely before reinserting. Ensure it is properly aligned.
Ensure the buckle is clean and free of debris. Gently slide the adjusters up or down the webbing to achieve the desired fit.
