The Buff Neckwear in Black is designed for active adults seeking versatile sun protection and cooling for outdoor activities. Its key benefit is the combination of UPF 50 sun safety, evaporative cooling, and sweat management, all in a lightweight, eco-friendly design made from recycled materials. A minor caveat is that while it offers cooling, the intensity may vary based on ambient conditions and activity level.

UPF 50 means the fabric blocks 98% of the sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, providing excellent protection.
The HeiQ Smart Temp technology is activated by body heat and sweat. It helps regulate your temperature by creating a cooling sensation through evaporation, enhanced by natural mint extracts for freshness.
While it offers some warmth and wind protection, this neckwear is primarily designed for sun protection and cooling in warmer weather. It is not intended as heavy insulation for extreme cold.
The Buff Neckwear is highly versatile and can be worn as a neck gaiter, headband, face mask, hair tie, beanie, and more. Experiment to find your favorite styles.
Yes, it is machine washable on a cold cycle with like colors. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and high heat drying.
The product is made from approximately 95% recycled polyester, typically derived from recycled plastic bottles.
Ensure the fabric is slightly damp to activate the evaporative cooling. Wash according to care instructions to remove any residue that might impede the technology. The cooling effect is also dependent on ambient temperature and humidity.
Double-check that fabric softener, bleach, and high heat drying were avoided, as these can degrade the performance technologies. Re-wash using a mild detergent and air dry.
Ensure the product is worn correctly and not too tight. Wash the product before first use. If irritation persists, discontinue use.
Setup: No setup is required. Simply unfold and wear the Buff Neckwear in your preferred style.
Compatibility: This product is compatible with all outdoor activities and can be worn by adults of any gender. It pairs well with other athletic and outdoor gear.
