The Helly Hansen Comfort Light Set is an essential base layer for active men seeking year-round temperature regulation and moisture control during outdoor pursuits. By utilizing advanced LIFA Stay Dry technology and specialized soft insulating fibers, this set effectively wicks sweat away from the skin to keep you dry in changing weather, though it is primarily designed as a technical first layer rather than a standalone cold-weather garment.

Yes, the Comfort Light set is designed for year-round wear. Its moisture-wicking properties help keep you cool and dry even in warmer conditions.
It serves as an excellent base layer, but should be combined with an insulating mid-layer and a weather-protective shell for extreme cold.
Machine wash in cool water, use a gentle cycle, and hang to dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
The fabric is engineered with natural stretch to retain its shape after repeated use and washing.
LIFA technology is a hydrophobic fiber that prevents moisture from sitting against the skin, keeping you dry and preventing chills.
Ensure your mid-layer is also breathable to allow moisture to continue moving away from the base layer.
Base layers should be worn skin-tight for best performance; consider verifying the size guide or choosing a smaller fit.
Wash with a specialized sports detergent designed to remove oils and bacteria from synthetic performance fabrics.
To ensure the longevity of the moisture-wicking properties, always wash in cold or warm water with a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can clog the synthetic fibers and degrade the effectiveness of the moisture management system. For the best fit, ensure you select the appropriate size; as a base layer, it is designed to fit snugly against the skin to facilitate effective moisture transfer. When storing, fold neatly or hang in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
