The Russell Water Resistant & Windproof Softshell Jacket is an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts and professionals seeking a reliable, versatile outer layer that balances protection with comfort. Featuring a 3-layer softshell construction with a bonded microfleece lining, this jacket provides excellent wind resistance and water protection for unpredictable weather conditions. While it is highly functional for transitional seasons, users should note that it is designed primarily as a mid-to-outer layer and may require additional heavy insulation during extreme sub-zero temperatures.

To ensure the longevity of the Russell softshell jacket, proper care is essential. Since it is constructed from polyester with a specialized membrane, always check the interior garment label for specific temperature settings. Generally, machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colors using mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can degrade the water-resistant coating and the breathability of the membrane. Hang-drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the fabric's shape and technical features. Ensure all zippers are closed before washing to prevent snagging.
