Setup & Wearing
Putting on your Antora Rain Pants is straightforward:
- Adjusting the Waist: Use the elasticated waistband and internal drawcord to secure a comfortable and snug fit around your waist.
- Over Boots: Utilize the lower-leg zippers to easily slide the trousers over your hiking boots. Zip them up fully once on.
- Leg Opening Adjustment: Fasten the hook-and-loop adjustment at the leg openings to tailor the fit, preventing water and debris from entering.
Compatibility
These rain pants are designed to be worn as an outer shell over your regular hiking trousers or base layers. Their generous fit and lower-leg zippers make them highly compatible with most hiking boots.
Care Instructions
Proper care is essential to maintain the waterproof and breathable performance of your Antora Rain Pants:
- Washing: Machine wash your pants with a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can impair the DWR finish and breathability.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting. High heat can damage the fabric.
- Re-treatment: Over time, the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish may wear off. To restore water repellency, you will need to re-treat the garment using a specialized DWR spray or wash-in product once it no longer beads water effectively. Follow the instructions of the DWR product carefully.
