Product Information

Full details

The Callaway Quantum Max OS Women's Hybrid is designed for adult female golfers seeking enhanced forgiveness and easier launch, particularly to combat a rightward ball flight. Its oversized, draw-biased profile and advanced technology promote faster ball speeds and a more consistent, high-launching trajectory. While it offers significant game improvement, golfers preferring a more compact head shape or custom fitting options may find other models better suited.

FAQs

Who is the Callaway Quantum Max OS Women's Hybrid best suited for?

It is designed for adult female golfers who need assistance with launching the ball high and achieving greater distance, and who may struggle with a rightward ball flight (slice).

How does the Speed Wave 2.0 technology help my game?

This technology places tungsten low and forward in the clubhead, promoting faster ball speeds and a consistent, high-launching flight, especially on strikes lower on the face.

What is the benefit of the Step Sole Design?

The redesigned Step Sole minimizes turf interaction, allowing the club to glide more smoothly through grass for cleaner contact and improved shot consistency, particularly from imperfect lies.

Can I adjust the loft and lie of this hybrid?

Yes, the Quantum Max OS Hybrid features the OptiFit 4 hosel, which allows for independent adjustment of loft and lie, offering seven unique settings to fine-tune your launch, trajectory, and distance.

What kind of shaft comes standard with this hybrid?

It comes standard with a Mitsubishi Chemical Vanquish 40 Ladies shaft, which is lightweight (40g) and designed for a high launch and high spin.

Is this hybrid available for left-handed golfers?

The 6H, 7H, and 8H models are not available for left-handed golfers. The 3H and 4H are custom orders only and may have left-handed availability.

How does the oversized head shape benefit my play?

The oversized profile provides a larger hitting area and increased MOI (Moment of Inertia), leading to greater forgiveness on off-center strikes and a more stable, confidence-inspiring feel at address.

Troubleshooting

Ball flight consistently too high or too low.

Adjust the loft and lie using the OptiFit 4 hosel. Lowering the loft or adjusting the lie angle flatter can reduce trajectory; increasing loft or adjusting lie angle more upright can increase trajectory.

Reduced distance despite solid contact.

Ensure the clubface is clean. Check for any debris that might affect energy transfer. Verify the shaft flex is appropriate for your swing speed.

Club feels unstable or difficult to control.

Ensure the hosel is securely locked after adjustments. The oversized head is designed for stability; if issues persist, consult a professional fitter to confirm suitability.

The club doesn't feel smooth through the turf.

Ensure the sole is clean and free of significant dents or damage. The Step Sole design is optimized for turf interaction; minor scuffs are normal, but significant damage could affect performance.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Delivers exceptional forgiveness for off-center hits.

Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Adjustment: Utilize the OptiFit 4 hosel to adjust loft and lie settings. Refer to the hosel adjustment guide for specific instructions on rotating the sleeve to achieve your desired trajectory and ball flight.
  2. Gapping: Use the adjustable loft settings to fine-tune distance gapping between your hybrids and irons for a seamless transition.

Compatibility:

  • The Quantum Max OS Women's Hybrid is designed to be paired with the Callaway Quantum Max OS Women's irons for a cohesive set.
  • The included Mitsubishi Chemical Vanquish 40 Ladies shaft is specifically designed for this club, offering a ladies flex, light weight, and high launch/high spin characteristics.

Care:

  • Clean the clubface regularly with a soft brush or damp cloth after each use to remove dirt and debris, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the clubface or sole.
  • Store clubs in a dry place to prevent rust or damage to the components.
