Troubleshooting

Zip feels stiff or sticks during use

Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth of the zip and move the slider slowly along the track.

Pillowcase feels too large for the pillow

Verify that your pillow dimensions are exactly 80 x 80cm; these cases are intended for continental square pillows.

Fabric feels slightly stiff after first wash

The fabric is designed to get softer with every wash; continue laundering to reach maximum softness.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • High thread count provides a luxurious, silky touch
  • Hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin
  • Durable fabric that resists pilling and bobbling over time
  • Temperature regulating properties keep you comfortable all night
  • Secure zip closure prevents the pillow from slipping out

Cons

  • Requires 80 x 80cm continental pillows which may not be standard in all households
  • Heavier fabric due to 1000 thread count may take longer to air dry
  • Premium material requires adherence to specific washing guidelines to maintain finish

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your pillowcases maintain their quality, follow these guidelines:

  • Setup: These cases fit 80 x 80cm continental pillows. Simply insert the pillow and secure the zip closure to ensure a snug fit.
  • Compatibility: Designed to coordinate with the broader Homescapes luxury bedding range, though they work well as an accent set for neutral-toned bedrooms.
  • Washing: Machine wash at 60°C. The fabric is durable and will continue to soften with every wash.
  • Maintenance: Avoid bleach to preserve the integrity of the cotton fibers. The sateen weave is naturally resistant to pilling, so regular washing is sufficient to keep the fabric looking pristine.
